Yes, the legends are true, before there were the Yaks, there were Ragin' Rhinos The Rhinos raged for two years in a row.

In 2001, the Rhinos consisted of Jim & Margo (the Captain and Kai-Yak), and Erik and his brother in law Chris.  The Rhinos competed in the  HFP Adventure Race Series at Paint Creek State Park in Ohio and took 1st place in the Co-Ed Masters division.

In 2002, the Rhinos dwindled down to Jim and Erik.  They competed in the HFP Adventure Race Series at Shawnee State Park in Ohio, and took 1st place in the 2-Person Male Masters category.
